In this article i’m going to outline who won the figure skating in the Winter Olympics 2026. This year’s Olympics were held at the Milano Ice Skating Arena, in Milan, Italy. There were 24 entries in the men and women’s singles, another 15 in pair skating and a further 18 in ice dance. Some other spots were allocated on the basis of some other assessments making the total number of entries, 147. The events took place I’m going to give you the outcomes of all the different event types. Let’s jump straight into it and see who took the medals!
Men’s event – who won the figure skating in the Winter Olympics 2026
Mikhail Shaidorov of Kazakhstan won gold in the men’s event. Yuma Kagiyama of Japan took silver and Shun Sato, also of Japan, took bronze. The short and free skating programs took place at 18:30 on 10th February and 19:00 on 13th February, respectively.
Women’s event – who won the figure skating in the Winter Olympics 2026
Alysa Liu of the United States won gold in the women’s event. Kaori Sakamoto of Japan won silver and Ami Nakai also of Japan, won bronze. The short program took place on 17th February at 18:45 and the free skate took place on the 19th February at 19:00.
Pair’s event:
Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan won the pairs event. The short program event took place on 15th February at 19:45, and the free skating took place on 16th February at 20:00.
Ice dance event:
The Ice dance event was won by Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron of France who won the gold medal. Silver was taken by Madison Chock and Evan Bates of the United States. Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier of Canada won the bronze medal.
