Roller Skates Set Up – Beautiful Red and Green theme

In this article i’m going to talk about a roller skates set up which I put together with a picture editor…and which I really admire! I just love the look of the skates pictured below. I will share with you where you can buy the different parts of this set up – please click the pictures for a direct link to the relevant shop/page.

Skates set up

I just absolutely love the way these colours look together…It just so happens that these skates look beautiful for winter, but they would be perfect in any season.

Features of the skate set up

Roller skates set up – Skates

Skates: Moxi Lolly – Poppy Red. These are high value skates which are very comfortable and they come with very high standards of fittings by default. Please see our separate review of the Moxi Lolly skate, here:

You can buy these skates from a number of different places. They are at the higher end of the market in terms of price (£300 or so, usually). Pictured below is how they come by default. The laces are soft and beige colour.

Roller skates set up – Toe stops

I used the Moxi petals toe stops, in red:

These toe stoppers come in a variety of colours and they are known to be of good quality. You can see she used the ‘Teal’ ones on the left pictured above.

Skates set up – Toe covers:

In the photo I’m using these lovely quality suede toe covers which I found on Etsy. They cost £47.84

Laces:

The laces used in the video shown above are the ‘Spark’ derby laces, pictured below. They come in a whole different variety of colours but I loved the colour green with these skates:

Wheels

The wheels used in the image are the Bont Glow Wheels, in teal:

I did find some luminous wheels which come in a variety of colours and some of them are glittery too! Most of these come in 62mm size – I believe these are larger than the ones pictured in the video but they can be more striking – especially when they light up, as larger wheels.

Wheel nut covers

I used these lovely wheel nut covers from Etsy in the photo. They cost £27.17 for a set of four.

POMPOMS!

I found these super cute pompoms on Etsy which look gorgeous with this skate set up! These cost £6.50 on Etsy. They are not officially roller skate pompoms but a couple of stitches would sort them out!!
