This is another article in the series of me reviewing beautiful skate set ups. I will help you understand how I created the skate set up (via photoshop) and provide you with information about the parts and where you can source them, to recreate the set up. This time i’ve created the pair pictured below:

I absolutely love the colour combinations on these skates – they look very girly and retro!
Skate set up – Skate boots
I’ve used Moxi Lollies in my skate boots – these are high quality and very well loved by many skaters.
You can get these skates at the link below. From brand new these cost c. £300.
If this is something you would struggle to pay, you can also find great second hand and nearly new pairs on Ebay – please see the button below!
Skate set up – Wheels!
I used Bont Glow Wheels. These wheels are light up wheels and they provide a beautiful ‘glow’ at night – you can see them on Bont’s You Tube video here:
These skate wheels are great for general street skating – especially at night obviously! These wheels cost circa £22 for a pack of 4. She has used the colour Misty Teal:
Skate Blocks
I chose to keep the trucks area simple, and did not add any trucks to this pair. The Moxi Lolly skates are very high quality and could be upgraded to include some trucks if desired.
Toe Stops
I’m using some green heart shaped toe stops, pictured below:
These are called Grindstone heart stoppers and they cost c. £18.
Decals
I’ve used my favourite Toe Covers manufacturer on Etsy – Glitdzgear – they make other decals too:
These banners cost £18.56.
I also added more girliness by adding a clip on butterfly, on Etsy:
These cost £10.98:
What sort of skate set up would be complete without my heart shaped wheel nut covers. I absolutely love these! I love how they look against the Bont glow wheels. These are made by CADJUNGLE on Etsy:
They cost £27 and can be purchased on the link below – they come in a variety of colours:
Finally I have used these holographic butterfly wings which are gorgeous! I absolutely love these ones which I found on Etsy:
Overall this is a really nice skate set up. If you would have made some adjustments to this set up to meet your own style, please share how you would have changed them in the comments!
